A gentle, holistic approach to restoring energetic harmony...
John Cross Meridian & Chakra Acupressure Therapy is a deeply integrative system that brings together principles from Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Ayurvedic philosophy to balance the body’s vital energy - known as Qi in TCM and Prana in Ayurveda. This approach works simultaneously with the meridian pathways and the charka system, helping to clear blockages, restore energetic flow, and support whole‑body well being.
Core Concepts
Meridians In TCM, meridians are the body’s energy channels, carrying Qi through twelve principal pathways and eight extraordinary vessels. Acupressure points along these channels provide access to areas where energy can be influenced, released, or strengthened.
Chakras From Ayurvedic tradition, chakras are seven primary energy centres located along the spine. Each chakra relates to specific organs, emotions, and physical or energetic patterns.
Integration In this therapy, the chakra system is understood to regulate the meridians. When a chakra becomes imbalanced, the meridians associated with it may also be affected. By addressing both systems together, the treatment supports deeper, more holistic balance.
How the therapy works
During a session, gentle to firm pressure is applied to specific acupressure points using the fingers, palms, or elbows. This stimulates the body’s natural self‑healing mechanisms, calms the nervous system, and encourages the smooth flow of energy throughout the body.
Clients often seek this therapy for issues such as chronic pain, stress, emotional imbalance, fatigue, and general tension. Many describe feeling lighter, clearer, and more grounded after treatment.
